Get to know me!

Hello! My name is Jessica; I’m an editor and sound designer based in Chicago. I found my passion for post-production audio while studying at Columbia College Chicago. Since graduating in 2022, I’ve worked for several companies, including Our Wedding Movie, EA Sports, and Periscope Post & Audio.

I’m very passionate about foley recording and editing, which, in other words, is spending every working day listening to someone eat mac and cheese, crunch gravel under their feet, or whack things with a stick. Whether it’s assuring that the sounds are recorded at the correct levels, keeping a Pro Tools session organized, designing and cutting dynamic background sound effects, or cleaning up noisy recordings in RX, I’m thorough and efficient. My attention to detail and ability to immerse myself in the scene allows me to bring new ideas and insights to every project. I genuinely love what I do and will never stop working in a field that gifts me with such powerful drive and passion.  

When I’m not “working,” I enjoy creating animal portraits with sidewalk chalk or acrylic paints, seeking out new and exciting activities around Chicago, or cuddling up with a nice book.
